Below you can see two sites in their various stages of HTML adaptation (click on the thumbnails for a larger version). The leftmost picture in each row is the original appearance in a classical terminal emulator (x3270 in this case). The next picture shows a plain HTML rendering (character-based layout). This works out of the box in h3270, but has a rather clunky appearance. The pictures on the right show versions of these sites rendered with h3270's regular expression engine. The templates for these pages have been designed manually (including the selection of the graphics), and h3270 uses them as fully functional, change-tolerant replacements for the original screens.
